B2B marketing agency Belgium Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels

GTM Quest is a London go-to-market agency for B2B teams selling into Belgium.

We build the plan, the account lists and the outreach around Belgium's rule that lets you email info@ but not jan.peeters@.

We also help you brief a B2B communicatiebureau or agence where the work needs Dutch or French.

Then the guide: how B2B marketing is bought in a country of three language markets, the rules, and ten Belgian B2B agencies re-checked on their own websites in September 2026.

01/ our service

Selling into Belgium what GTM Quest does for you

We are based in London and do not pretend to be a Belgian bureau.

What we bring is the go-to-market work: who to target, what to say, how to reach them lawfully under Belgian rules, and how to measure it.

01

A go-to-market plan for Belgium

Which segments to enter first, which accounts are worth pursuing, and what you will say to them.

Written down in the first weeks while the first conversations run, and before any money goes on media or an agency retainer.

02

Account lists you own

Target accounts and the people in each buying group, enriched in Clay and held in a Postgres database that stays with you.

Built for Belgium company data, not a UK list with the country changed.

03

Outreach that respects local rules

Email, LinkedIn and calls sequenced around what the Belgium rules allow, not around the UK's corporate-subscriber exemption, which most of Europe does not have.

04

LinkedIn and founder-led content

Posts and paid LinkedIn aimed at the same account list, so outreach arrives from a name buyers have already seen.

English first, local language where it matters.

05

A local agency, briefed properly

Belgium needs Dutch for Flanders and French for Wallonia.

Where the work needs either, we write the brief, shortlist Belgian agencies and sit in the pitch with you, so every bureau quotes for the same thing.

06

A system you keep

Documented, trained and handed over.

The lists, sequences, dashboards and playbooks stay with you when the engagement ends.

The motion starts on day one through LinkedIn, content and warm introductions; email joins once the lists separate impersonal company addresses from named ones.

If you are also selling into the Netherlands, much of the Dutch-language work carries over; the email rules do not.

02/ engagement

How we work with teams selling into Belgium

Every engagement starts the same way: the motion on day one through LinkedIn, content and warm introductions, with the system built around it.

The difference is who runs it afterwards.

How much of your Belgium go-to-market do you want to own?

Handover + support

We hand over, then stay close

Everything in Handover, then one or two days a week of senior help to optimise and troubleshoot.

  • ✓ Everything in Handover
  • ✓ Weekly optimisation
  • ✓ Deliverability monitoring
  • ✓ Local-agency briefing support

Best for teams building their own capability.

What it costs. Every engagement is scoped and quoted in writing after the discovery call.

Media, data and tools are separate lines.

More on the model: how we work as a GTM agency, our ABM agency London service, demand generation and lead generation.

03/ the market

How B2B marketing is bought in Belgium three language markets

Belgium is small in area and busy in business: Statbel counted 1,187,819 VAT-registered enterprises at 31 December 2024, up 1.6% in a year.

In 2024, 113,289 businesses were founded and 94,532 stopped trading.

It is also three markets.

Flanders works in Dutch, Wallonia in French, and Brussels in both, with English common in the capital's international firms and EU-adjacent sectors.

An agency's website language tells you its centre of gravity: Umbau and Customer Impact lead in Dutch, Stratenet in French, while BBC, LeadFabric, Handlangers, MakeWaves and The House of Marketing lead in English.

Belgium has an established B2B-specialist tradition.

BBC says it was founded in 1983 and reported €11.4m revenue in 2024 (BBC); LeadFabric was founded in 2008 and represented Eloqua, Marketo and Pardot in Europe early (LeadFabric).

Many of the B2B specialists sit in the Mechelen, Antwerp and Ghent triangle rather than in Brussels.

B2B communicatiebureau, marketing bureau or agence?

In Flanders, buyers search for a "B2B communicatiebureau" or "B2B marketingbureau"; in Wallonia and Brussels, an "agence marketing B2B".

The labels describe the same thing.

What differs is the language of delivery, so decide first which region you are entering.

The trade body

ACC Belgium is the association of communication agencies.

Membership is a sign an agency is established, not a quality mark.

04/ the rules

B2B email in Belgium the impersonal-address exemption

Belgium has a genuine B2B carve-out, narrower than the UK’s.

General information, not legal advice.

QuestionWhat the rules saySource
Default ruleNo advertising by email without the recipient’s prior, free, specific and informed consent.Infoshopping.be
info@, sales@, contact@No consent needed where the address is manifestly a legal person’s impersonal address: info@, contact@, sales@, orders@ and similar. This comes from the Royal Decree of 4 April 2003.Infoshopping.be · Royal Decree commentary
firstname.lastname@company.beA natural person’s address, whether used for work or not. Consent needed.Infoshopping.be
What you can advertiseThe goods or services must be aimed at the legal person, not at the individual. No consumer offers sent to a company’s info@ address.Infoshopping.be
Existing customersExempt if you collected the address in a sale, advertise only similar products you provide, and offered a free opt-out at collection.Royal Decree commentary
Opt-outLegal persons can object at any time; every advertising email must give an address for objecting, and objections must be acknowledged and recorded.Royal Decree commentary
Burden of proofOn the sender: you must prove consent or that an exception applied.Infoshopping.be
The GDPR layerThe data-protection authority (APD/GBA) publishes a direct-marketing recommendation; its page now links Recommendations 01/2020 and 01/2026. Its 2025 draft defined direct marketing as promotional messages to identified or identifiable natural persons.GBA · draft 01/2025

What this means in practice. A Belgian programme can email impersonal company addresses about business products, and needs another route to named people: LinkedIn, events, content, calls.

Ask any bureau how it tells an impersonal address from a personal one in a bought list.

The burden of proof is yours.

05/ language

Working with a Belgian agency in English and when you need Dutch or French

Belgium ranks 9th of 123 in the EF English Proficiency Index 2025, with a score of 608; Brussels scores 588 in EF's city table (EF EPI 2025 report).

English works for most B2B conversations with larger companies.

It does not replace local-language marketing.

Content, search and events aimed at Flemish SMEs need Dutch; in Wallonia, French.

Of the ten agencies here, BBC, LeadFabric, Handlangers, MakeWaves and The House of Marketing lead in English; Living Stone publishes in Dutch with English pages; D'M&S leads in Dutch; Stratenet works in French and English; Umbau and Customer Impact lead in Dutch.

08/ buying

How to choose a B2B marketing agency in Belgium five steps from abroad

The order matters.

Each step removes agencies that would have wasted a pitch meeting.

Write one brief and send it to everyone

Your ICP, the Belgium segments you want first, the budget band, what you already run and what "good" looks like after six months.

Agencies quoting on the same brief can be compared; agencies quoting on a phone call cannot.

  • ✓ ICP and first segments
  • ✓ Budget band, not a number
  • ✓ What you run today
  • ✓ The measure of success

09/ what it costs

What a Belgian B2B marketing agency costs why there is no range here

None of the ten Belgian agencies on this page publishes prices on its own site.

Stratenet says only that its budgets are "100% adaptés à votre projet".

Each agency was re-read on its own website on 28 September 2026: homepage, and the contact or about page for the city.

Nothing comes from Clutch, Sortlist, GoodFirms or any other directory.

What is deliberately absent: a ranking, a price range (no agency here publishes one), and staff counts, results or awards the agencies' current pages do not state.

Rules are summarised from Belgian government guidance and the data-protection authority; not legal advice.

B2B marketing in Belgium FAQ

What buyers ask before hiring a B2B marketing agency or B2B communicatiebureau in Belgium.

It depends on region and job.

For brand and content in complex B2B, BBC or Living Stone; for demand generation and ABM, Handlangers or LeadFabric; for HubSpot in Wallonia, Stratenet.

Use the picker.

For the go-to-market plan, see what we do.

Dutch for "B2B communication agency", the Flemish term for an agency that handles B2B brand, content and campaigns.

"B2B marketingbureau" means much the same.

To impersonal company addresses such as info@ or sales@, about products aimed at the company, yes.

To a named address such as firstname.lastname@company.be, only with consent (Infoshopping.be).

Yes.

Belgian guidance treats it as a natural person's address whether used for work or not, so email marketing to it needs consent (Infoshopping.be).

The email rule sits in economic law (the Royal Decree of 4 April 2003) and the FPS Economy publishes guidance on it; the data-protection authority (APD/GBA) covers the GDPR side and publishes direct-marketing recommendations (GBA).

None of the ten agencies here publishes prices.
