B2B marketing agency Finland and how to choose a B2B markkinointitoimisto

GTM Quest is a London go-to-market agency for B2B teams selling into Finland.

We build the plan, the account lists and the outreach around Finland's rule that a named work email needs consent unless the offer fits the person's role.

We also help you brief a Finnish agency where the work needs Finnish.

Then the guide: how B2B marketing is bought in Finland, the rules, what agencies publish about price, and nine Finnish B2B agencies re-checked on their own websites in September 2026.

01/ our service

Selling into Finland what GTM Quest does for you

We are based in London, not Helsinki.

What we bring is the go-to-market work that decides whether a Finnish launch pays: which accounts and roles to target, what to say, how to reach them lawfully, and how to measure it.

01

A go-to-market plan for Finland

Which segments to enter first, which accounts are worth pursuing, and what you will say to them.

Written down in the first weeks while the first conversations run, and before any money goes on media or an agency retainer.

02

Account lists you own

Target accounts and the people in each buying group, enriched in Clay and held in a Postgres database that stays with you.

Built for Finland company data, not a UK list with the country changed.

03

Outreach that respects local rules

Email, LinkedIn and calls sequenced around what the Finland rules allow, not around the UK's corporate-subscriber exemption, which most of Europe does not have.

04

LinkedIn and founder-led content

Posts and paid LinkedIn aimed at the same account list, so outreach arrives from a name buyers have already seen.

English first, local language where it matters.

05

A local agency, briefed properly

Where the work needs Finnish or Swedish-language content, events or PR, we write the brief, shortlist Finnish agencies and sit in the pitch with you.

That way every agency quotes for the same thing.

06

A system you keep

Documented, trained and handed over.

The lists, sequences, dashboards and playbooks stay with you when the engagement ends.

The motion starts on day one through LinkedIn, content and warm introductions.

Email joins once each contact's role is checked against the position-based rule.

Selling into Sweden, Norway or Denmark as well?

See our Nordics guide.

The email rules there differ again.

02/ engagement

How we work with teams selling into Finland

Every engagement starts the same way: the motion on day one through LinkedIn, content and warm introductions, with the system built around it.

The difference is who runs it afterwards.

How much of your Finland go-to-market do you want to own?

Handover + support

We hand over, then stay close

Everything in Handover, then one or two days a week of senior help to optimise and troubleshoot.

  • ✓ Everything in Handover
  • ✓ Weekly optimisation
  • ✓ Deliverability monitoring
  • ✓ Local-agency briefing support

Best for teams building their own capability.

What it costs. Every engagement is scoped and quoted in writing after the discovery call.

Media, data and tools are separate lines.

More on the model: how we work as a GTM agency, our ABM agency London service, demand generation and lead generation.

03/ the market

How B2B marketing is bought in Finland HubSpot partners and heavy industry

Statistics Finland counted 607,659 enterprises in 2024.

For B2B sellers the interesting part is the top: Finland's large exporters in machinery, forestry, metals and technology buy marketing for global buying committees, and the agencies that serve them name clients such as Nokia (Valve One), Outokumpu and Cummins (Luxid) and Caplan (Aboad) on their own sites.

Finland also has a deep bench of HubSpot partners for its size.

Avidly, Kaksio Labs, Sales Communications, Blink Helsinki and Myynninmaailma all build around HubSpot; a Finnish agency that calls itself B2B is often a HubSpot shop first.

That suits companies that want CRM, automation and content in one place, and suits less those who need media buying or brand work.

Most Finnish B2B agencies work on a monthly retainer for a named team.

Aboad is unusual in publishing its figure; the others quote privately.

B2B markkinointitoimisto

"Markkinointitoimisto" is Finnish for marketing agency, and "B2B-markkinointitoimisto" is how Finnish buyers search.

Myynninmaailma calls itself a "valtakunnallinen B2B-markkinointitoimisto" (a nationwide B2B marketing agency).

The trade body

Marketing Finland is the network of companies that make and buy marketing and communications; it says its members account for more than 90% of marketing and communications purchases made in Finland.

04/ the rules

B2B email in Finland the position-based rule

Finland lets you email organisations and, in some cases, named people in the right role.

The Data Protection Ombudsman explains how.

General information, not legal advice.

QuestionWhat the rules saySource
Private individualsElectronic direct marketing to a private person needs their prior consent (opt-in), and you must be able to prove it.Tietosuojavaltuutettu
firstname.lastname@company.fiTreated as a natural person’s address, so the starting point is consent.Tietosuojavaltuutettu
The asemavaltuus exceptionNo consent needed if the person works in a role to which your goods or services are substantially related ("position-based authority").Tietosuojavaltuutettu
Before you startYou must check the person’s position before sending and be able to show afterwards that the processing was lawful, for example by documenting the assessment.Tietosuojavaltuutettu
Company general addressNo consent needed to email an organisation, for example its general address; the organisation can still refuse.Tietosuojavaltuutettu
The lawSection 200 of the Act on Electronic Communications Services (917/2014) requires consent for direct marketing to natural persons.Tietosuojavaltuutettu decision
EnforcementIn 2020 the Data Protection Ombudsman’s sanctions board fined a company that emailed staff at client-segment firms without checking whether the courses it sold related to their jobs.Tietosuojavaltuutettu decision

What this means in practice. Finnish B2B email is possible.

It must go to the right role, with a written note of why the offer fits that role.

A list bought by company and job title is not enough on its own.

We build the role-fit check into the list before the first send.

05/ language

Working with a Finnish agency in English test three deep pages

Finland ranks 12th of 123 in the EF English Proficiency Index 2025, with a score of 603; Helsinki scores 628 in EF's city table (EF EPI 2025 report).

Senior B2B buyers generally work comfortably in English.

Agencies serving international clients (Luxid, Avidly, UP There Everywhere and Valve One) run English sites.

Aboad, Blink Helsinki and Kaksio Labs are bilingual.

Myynninmaailma and Sales Communications lead in Finnish.

Several Finnish agencies put an English homepage over a Finnish site, so test a case study and a service page, not just the front door.

06/ shortlist

Which kind of Finnish agency do you need?

Pick the problem you are solving.

Each answer names agencies from the list below whose own sites say this is what they do.

08/ buying

How to choose a B2B marketing agency in Finland five steps from abroad

The order matters.

Each step removes agencies that would have wasted a pitch meeting.

Write one brief and send it to everyone

Your ICP, the Finland segments you want first, the budget band, what you already run and what "good" looks like after six months.

Agencies quoting on the same brief can be compared; agencies quoting on a phone call cannot.

  • ✓ ICP and first segments
  • ✓ Budget band, not a number
  • ✓ What you run today
  • ✓ The measure of success

09/ what it costs

How this page was checked and what it leaves out

Each agency was re-read on its own website on 28 September 2026 (homepage and contact page).

Where a site does not state a city, the card gives the country.

Nothing comes from Clutch, Sortlist, GoodFirms or any other directory.

What is deliberately absent: a ranking, a market price range, and staff counts, mergers or investments the agencies' current pages do not state.

The rule summary is drawn from the Data Protection Ombudsman's guidance and decisions; it is not legal advice.
